Born 1998, New York
Fiona Krugolets explores imagery of growth, aging, and transformation in the landscape and architecture that colors her surroundings. When painting, she reflects on environments that have shaped her childhood: Luna Park, Coney Island, and various mid century modern playgrounds. The movement and transformation of life translates into her artistic search expressed in mediums from oil paint, collage, photography, and drawing. She uses mixed media with a process based method to create an intimate abstract world that is always in flux. Fiona Krugolets lives and works in New York City.
